Good to know that the traditions and priorities of sailors over the past several centuries haven't changed at all. Keep up the good work!

| Er... Pat, you do know when you posted on, "Thu Aug 28, 2008 6:36 am" that if you were in the bar, the only other person there was Renault and if you were not, you were in the room with us.
Speaking of the room, how far away, sound insulated and all that is it? AKA what will it take for us in the room/rooms to figure out Renault is in a bar fight?

| Ah...uh...one of my amazing character-sheet-power-feat-red-mage abilities is to create a time paradox! Right!
Good catch, sir. I have retracted my post and will put something that makes more sense.

| So everyone in the back rooms would have heard the following:
After Renault left the room the sound of conversation flowed into the room. After a moment there was a very loud resounding scootching sound as wood was scraped across wood. Then one person laughing really really hard. The words Light him up! were yelled, then there was a loud fwoom (thats the scientific word for it) followed by red light pouring into the hallway.
Act as your characters would accordingly. I will run this like Ilene's online one where you guys should post your actions and any rolls you would like to do. At the end of the round I will make a post explaining who's action went where and how it all went down in the course of the round (and make any rolls for the players they didn't know about or didn't do). Sound good?

| Fine by me. Quick question though, are we going by total rolls or by successes (7-9 for 1, 10 for 2)?
I'm providing both just until that gets clairified.

| It's been so long since last we rolled that I forgot it is success based ( confirmed here), sorry for any confusion my post may have caused. | |

| Aye, tis a success based system. I don't need the sum of your rolls. However thanks to you guys still posting your actual dice values, I knew what you got for your rolls. So I hadn't been rushed to clarify it. If there is a question in the future, just provide the rolls themselves and I will go from there. | |

He was a Dwarf in a past life that had his whole village burned to the ground by Black Mage and Thief. Either that or he had some other sort of bad experience.

| Here I was thinking that as a tree he would have 20% slower move speed, take 5% more damage from axes, 15% more damage from fire, and increase healing effects on his party by 10% of his spirit. Too bad we dont use spirit in this system, kinda makes him gimped. | |

| Ah leave it to those silly married men. I mean, what?
On another note, I just had a DM and what the party thinks question. My character's ability is to nullify the ranks of abilities that people have, but could it apply to other magical objects as well?
Where I'm going with this is since I'm pinned down by chains that came into existence through supernatural means, if they're magic is nullified, I could break out a lot easier.
I just don't want an ability that gets overpowered, so...thoughts?

| Man, just read up what has happened, and I really didn't expect people to DISINTEGRATE as they touched the shield, HOLY CRAP! Also, FOREST FIRE!
For Pat, I don't see why it couldn't work and I don't think that's overpowered. I mean they're magic and you nullify magic so it should work, no?
Then again it could be stipulated that your powers only work on living beings, but then you'd be screwed against undead. So to make sure you aren't totally screwed against undead foes, I'd say it works on objects. Of course the DM has the final say.
